
I like this salad as it’s very easy to make and the final presentation is mouth-watering. This delicious salad always makes an appearance at family gatherings and holiday dinners.
Ingredients:
• 1 large chopped lettuce or 5 cups chopped lettuce
• 7 hard-cooked eggs, sliced
• Carrots chopped (as required)
• 2 cups frozen peas
• 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
• 1 cup mayonnaise
• 1 to 2 tablespoons sugar
• Green Onion
• Paprika
• Lemon juice
• 3 tablespoons yogurt
• Salt and pepper
Preparation:
• Place a quarter of the lettuce in bottom of large bowl.
• Season with salt and pepper and lemon juice.
• Place egg slices on the sides of the bowl over the lettuce
• Now make layer of carrots till the edges of egg and sprinkle again lemon juice, salt and pepper and place egg slices on the walls of bowl.
• Continue to layer with peas, remaining lettuce, crumbled and shredded cheese, along with light sprinklings of salt and pepper.
• Make last vegetable layer of lettuce leaves again.
• Now make a smooth paste of mayonnaise, yogurt, salt, pepper, sugar
• Cover and chill in the fridge.
• Garnish with green onion, Carrots, peas and a little paprika then serve.
