
Ingredients:
3 tsp Butter - softened
3 Eggs
1 pack Vanilla
1/2 cup Milk
1 Cup Sugar
2 Cups Flour
1 pack Baking Powder
2 Shredded Yellow Apples
1 1/2 tbsp Cinnamon
Cooking Directions:
Heat oven to a medium heat 180 degrees
In a large bowl, add butter and sugar and mix using an electric mixer until mixture is fluffy. (make sure the butter is soft not melted)
Add eggs and vanilla and whisk until well combined. Add milk and continue whisking for 3-5 minutes until all ingredients are well combined.
Sift the flour, baking powder and cinnamon and add to previous mixture and mix slowly until combined.
Add grated apples and mix slowly using a wooden spoon to keep air inside dough.
Put dough in a non stick cake pan. Bake cake on the medium self of oven for an hour or until a knife is inserted into the cake and comes out clean. Remove from oven and leave cake to cool for 10 minutes. Remove from pan and put in serving plate.
- Never open the oven door before about 30 minutes from inserting the cake in oven to allow cake to rise and increase in volume
- If an aluminum pan is used, the pan must be brushed with butter before putting the dough.
