
In its season four, Arabs biggest poetry live competition organized and produced by Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH) has witnessed many surprises so far as three female poets were qualified to participate in the second phase of the competition which happens for the first time in the history of the competition.
In addition to Jordanian female poet Roba Al Douekat and Saudi female poet Hisa Helal who were qualified by the jury panel in previous episodes, another female poet Halima Al Abadi from Jordan succeed to gain the highest points last episode with a poem inspired by the clashes brook out between football fans from Algeria and Egypt lately.
The jury panel of the largest Nabati poetry competition in the region has chosen 100 best poets from thousands of Arab candidates registered in the competition which is broadcast on Abu Dhabi TV every Wednesday from Al Raha Beach Theater in the capital Abu Dhabi.
The list contains of poets from 12 Arab countries as follows: 8 from UAE, 16 from Kuwait, 4 from Qatar, 2 from Bahrain, 7 from Oman, 45 from Saudi Arabia, 3 from Yemen, 8 from Jordan, 1 from Tunisia, 1 from Sudan, 2 from Iraq and 3 from Syria.
