World Environment Day (WED) is a day that stimulates awareness of the environment and enhances political attention and public action. World Environment Day (WED) 2010 is aimed to be the biggest, most widely celebrated, global day for positive, environmental action.
The Scientific Center of Kuwait plans to celebrate the day on June 12, 2010 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. They have planned loads of activities for University students along with some educational presentations at the IMAX Theater, arts & crafts for kids and more!!! One of the main events will be “Decorate your Grocery Bag” where participants from various universities will decorate grocery bags with environment messages. The Scientific Center of Kuwait will create competitive environment by inviting teachers & students to support their college teams.
