The terms “business trip” and” family trip” probably don’t seem to go together very well, right? It seems strange these days for anyone to take their kids along on business trips but it is not impossible mission.

Take If possible two extra days off, preferably at the end of your meeting to have fun with your family.
Plan for things to do, with busy schedule during the conference it might be hard to find the time to spend with your family. Prepare a list of possible activities that take various lengths of time and suit your schedule and weather conditions.
Cheap tickets sometimes have hidden restrictions - like tough cabin baggage weight limits - so check yours carefully before you start to pack. For trips out of the country, you'll want a good selection of schedules and prices from different airlines to make the best choice.
Consider booking seats apart from one another if traveling with a partner. This way, one adult can rest while the other entertains the children.
Meals. If you are looking to keep costs down, always check for special family deals, from discounted rates to free meals for children; many international chains offer these. Most hotels provide breakfast,
Visa fees. If you're going to need visas for your destination, don't be surprised if they're a requirement for children as well as adults, and that their fee is the same as for yours.
Check the latest restrictions on hand luggage before travelling. The more stringent regulations relate to carrying liquids, gels and creams, which includes baby foods, drinks and nappy cream.
Choose the right hotel. Are children allowed in the hotel pool? How far is it to the nearest park? Is there a DVD player in the room? You want the hotel to be centrally located so they can get out and explore while you are in the conference. Offer to pay a little extra out of your own pocket for more than one room or for a suite? This way the kids can play or go to bed in one room and you can stay up late to work in the other.
